Please join your fellow CASA volunteers for a “Mercer County Youth Violence Culture (gangs)” in-service on May 13, 2020 at 5:30pm.  The training will be given by Robert Fiorello, Juvenile Intervention Services Coordinator at PEI Kids.  Mr. Fiorello is also the chair for the Mercer County Gang Task Force.  The primary mission of the Mercer County Gang Task Force is to participate in the eradication of youth violence culture (gang culture) through outreach and education.  Mr. Fiorello has 26 years of experience working closely with high-risk, adjudicated youth.  He is an authority on Mercer County youth violence culture and its prevention.  During the training we will be discussing the causes, effects, and lasting toll of youth violence culture from educational and societal perspectives.
