Fostering Futures – Supporting Youth Transitions into Adulthood
This is a required training for anyone working with adolescents over the age of 14. There is pre-training work that will take approximately 3 hours to complete.
The focus of this training program is to improve outcomes for older and emancipating youth (14 – 21 years of age) served by CASA volunteers. The program is built around the framework of the Fostering Connections to Success Act, to help youth identify supportive, lifelong adult connections, and to develop specific plans for their transition to be independent, successful adults. This is a full day, 7.5 hours of training – please plan to be here the entire time.
Please RSVP as soon as possible so you can get the pre-work completed prior to class.
Dates: February 11 AND 13 from 5:30pm – 9:00pm
Where: Burlington County Courthouse – Jury Assembly Room
You MUST attend both nights.
